Hamble Aerostructures Limited
Founded in 1936, Hamble Aerostructures limited is a leading supplier of technologically advanced composite, metallic and hybrid aerostructures, military role equipment and canopy systems. Hamble’s in-house design, and manufacturing capabilities enables delivery of comprehensive “end-to-end” solutions sought by major aircraft original equipment manufacturers (“OEMs”).

Hamble’s product suite encompasses three main groups: metallic, composite and hybrid aerostructures, military role equipment and canopy systems. Hamble also has extensive experience in managing test programs, with capabilities including testing (structure static, structure vibration, bird strikes), canopy trials, process qualifications and production acceptance testing.

Hamble has produced a variety of aviation systems over its 80+ year history and has leveraged its capabilities into the civil and military aviation industries to become a world-class composite, metallic and hybrid Aerostructures manufacturer with additional capabilities for producing role equipment and canopy systems. The Business’ tenured history and commitment to providing high quality, innovative solutions have led it to be recognized as a trusted partner and supplier to many of the industry’s major civil and military OEMs.

Recently, substantial investment was made to expand Hamble’s technical and composite manufacturing capabilities through the construction of a $70M+ state-of-the-art composites manufacturing facility.

Across the industry the Hamble name has remained, albeit under many different owners that have included BAE Systems, Smiths Aerospace, GE Aviation and in Feb 2020 the site was purchased by Aernnova Aerospace.
